Community Work By Giving Back
Giving back to the community is something I feel very strongly about-especially as it relates to the opioid epidemic and those returning to society after incarceration. I was fortunate to teach nutrition and lifestyle healing aspects from July 2020 until June 2023 to those with substance use disorder in Washington and Frederick counties in partnership with Justice and Recovery Advocates. It is my sincere hope that nutritional education will become the standard of care for anyone choosing to recover from their addiction.

The “Choose Life” Recovery Health & Wellness Program provides assistance statewide for Maryland.
For more information about “Choose Life” Recovery Health and Wellness Program and Re-Entry Program began in Frederick County MD. These programs are open to individuals re-entering the community after incarceration, their families, or those in recovery from addiction. These programs are FREE to registered participants.
